19 Mar BCHA Celebrates Memorable Week of Purim
Last week, BCHA celebrated Purim with a series of themed events that brought creativity and high energy to the school community. The festivities began with the “Bring Everything Except Your Backpack” day, where students found inventive ways to transport their supplies, utilizing everything from strollers to storage bins.
The spirit of the holiday continued with “Dress Like Your Teacher Day.” Students arrived on campus wearing the signature styles of their educators, paying tribute to the faculty. The week reached its creative peak when the school was transformed into a Harry Potter-themed world for the annual Purim carnival. Led by Morah Maytal and her team, the event featured themed games and activities that turned the campus into a magical setting for the afternoon.
The celebration culminated in the Purim parade, an event with music, dancing, and a wide array of costumes. Students and staff joined together to mark the holiday with a level of enthusiasm that reflected the strong sense of community at the school. From the Hogwarts-inspired carnival to the parade music, the week provided a memorable break from the standard academic routine, focusing on tradition and shared joy.
