Library
Elementary students are introduced to the library and taught how to use the many types of materials in our collection. In addition, basic research techniques are introduced at this level. Students are introduced to electronic research sources, online databases, and general and specialized reference books, and specific organizational tools are introduced.
Units of instruction are designed to help students become independent users of library materials. Both fiction and non-fiction resources are introduced to students as they relate to units of. study they are receiving in the classroom. Children have access to our school library immersing themselves in the joy of literacy.
