28 May BCHA Hosts Sefer Torah Dedication Ceremony
On Monday evening, May 18, BCHA held a Hachnasat Sefer Torah ceremony, celebrating the arrival of two new Torah scrolls to the school community.
The evening also served as a meaningful tribute to the legacy of Rabbi Abraham Lieberman זצ״ל and Morah Yospa Lieberman. The program honored their decades of impact in building Torah education at BCHA.
Rabbi Lieberman dedicated over thirty years to teaching Torah at BCHA. Through his scholarship, humility, and humanity, he helped shape generations of students and left a lasting imprint on the school’s approach to Torah learning.
Morah Yospa Lieberman’s impact was also central to the evening’s tributes. Her deep care for students, families, and colleagues continues to be felt across the community, and she remains a cherished presence in the school.
Throughout the evening, students, alumni, colleagues, and family members offered Divrei Torah and tributes reflecting on the Liebermans’ influence.
The ceremony concluded with spirited hakafot, as participants danced with the new Sifrei Torah in celebration. The event combined joy and gratitude, honoring the Lieberman legacy while celebrating the enduring commitment to Torah learning at BCHA.
