09 Oct Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy Commemorates Tashlich With Special Trip
For many, Tashlich is a time of reflection and preparation for the year ahead. It is a moment to connect with Hashem and a reminder that God is present everywhere: in the classroom, in the shul and even in nature.
To mark this special holiday, kindergarten and first-grade students from BCHA took a meaningful trip to the Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford, Connecticut. There, Rabbi Josh Rosenfeld led them in prayer and reflection before they cast their sins from the past year into the brook below.
For those in attendance, the trip was a day of learning and discovery. It gave students the chance to experience the power of Hashem in nature and to embrace the importance of beginning the new year with kindness, gratitude and respect.
