11 Dec Parnas Ha-Yom
The Talmud teaches that “the entire world is sustained by the Torah study and Tefillah/prayer of young children.” At BCHA, our mission is to cultivate this blessing while inculcating our children with tradition’s time-honored values. Becoming a Parnas Ha-Yom, a “patron of the day,” means that you are our partner in this mission while dedicating the Torah study and Tefillah of our BCHA students in honor of a Yahrtzeit, special anniversary, or Simcha.
In the great Yeshivot and study halls of yesteryear, the tradition of Parnas Ha-Yom was meant to accrue merit and blessing for that unique dedication, and we continue this legacy at BCHA today. The names of the Parnas Ha-Yom and their loved ones will be a part of the intentions of the day’s Torah and Tefillah, as well as mentioned in a community communication indicating the “patron of the day.” Join us as a partner in sustaining the entire world through our children’s growth in Torah and Tefillah.
