UPPER SCHOOL

Chesed/Service

In keeping with the tenets of our tradition to participate in Gemilut Chasadim (acts of kindness) and Tikun Olam (repairing the world), our students fulfill 15 hours of community service each year by volunteering several times a month for service projects. A student-run Chesed (community service) club works closely with school administration to bring in speakers and provide students with ongoing opportunities to make a difference.

Our students are also leaders outside of school in youth groups and organizations such as BBYO, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Friendship Circle, NCSY, and USY.
